Patton's Rescript Back to the book

Privacy policy

Last updated: 23 October 2026

Who is responsible for your data

Juan Fons Morey, trading as Patton's Rescript, based in Spain. Email: [email protected]. This policy follows the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Spanish Organic Law 3/2018.

What we collect, why, and on what legal basis

The mailing list. If you sign up, we keep your email address and the date and time you agreed. We use it to tell you when a book comes out and, now and then, about new history titles. The legal basis is your consent. You can withdraw it at any time with the unsubscribe link in every email or by writing to us. The list is managed by MailerLite, an email service based in the European Union, which processes the data on our behalf.

Purchases. When you buy, checkout runs on Payhip, a company based in the United Kingdom, with payments handled by Stripe or PayPal. We receive your name, email address, country and order details. We never see your full card number. We use this data to deliver the book, handle refunds and keep the accounting and tax records Spanish law requires. The legal bases are the contract with you and our legal obligations.

Visits to this website. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts visits without cookies and without identifying you. The site is hosted by Cloudflare, Inc., whose servers process technical data such as IP addresses to deliver pages and protect the site. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in running a secure site and knowing which videos send visitors here.

Emails you send us. If you write to us, we keep the conversation to answer you and for as long as it's useful for that purpose.

Cookies and similar technology

This website sets no cookies. During your visit, your browser may keep a short code in session storage that records which video brought you here. It contains no personal information and disappears when you close the tab. Payhip's checkout pages, which are separate from this site, may set their own cookies under Payhip's policy.

Transfers outside the European Economic Area

Payhip is in the United Kingdom, which has an EU adequacy decision. Cloudflare, Stripe and PayPal may process data in the United States under the EU–US Data Privacy Framework or the European Commission's standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict or object to its use, and to receive it in a portable format. Write to [email protected]. If you think we've handled your data badly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (Agencia Española de Protección de Datos, www.aepd.es) or to the authority in your own country.

Children

This site and its mailing list are meant for adults. We don't knowingly collect data from anyone under 16.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new date.
